Gerardo Bezares

Gerardo Bezares holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), with a concentration in Administrative Law and a specialization in Industrial Property Law. He has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property, advising companies, entrepreneurs, and international firms on the protection and enforcement of intangible assets.

He has worked with renowned law firms and served as Legal Manager of the international IP division at one of Mexico’s largest television companies. His background is enriched by specialized courses from WIPO, IMPI, INDAUTOR, and other prestigious national and international institutions.

He is the founder and managing partner of BE-IP Bezares Intellectual Property, where he leads legal strategies for domestic and international clients. He is also a public speaker and contributor to various media outlets.

In addition to his IP focus, Gerardo has successfully represented clients in key immigration and energy litigation matters. He is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), Business Network International (BNI), among others.
